Halloween

Let me introduce you to a bunny & Anakin Skywalker (from Star Wars)

Hollon's class at school had taken their Halloween buckets around and gotten candy and prizes at the school festival. So she knew that the bucket meant she'd get stuff. She was excited.

We trick-or-treated with some friends from another section in our neighborhood. Their oldest son Braden is in Jake's class and baseball team. And I think Hollon has a little crush on Braden's younger brother Connor.

She would get up to the person or door and then turn around and walk away. She didn't want to speak to them. Or even stick her bag out. We basically had to force her bag open so they could give her candy. She only wanted to take candy from people we knew. Or houses that the people were not home but just left out a bowl of candy.

Our friend's street has a lot more kids Jake's age on it. He had fun running into so many friends from school.

After a few houses, Hollon decided she was done. She just wanted to sit in her stroller and eat the little bit of candy she had collected.

After trick-or-treating in Braden's section, we walked over to our section and went down our street. By the time we made it to our house, our next door neighbors were getting home. So all of the kids played for a little while.

It was such a fun Halloween! Here is a look back at our previous Halloweens:
