One morning, Hollon found this old bottle brush. She insisted on playing with it all morning, as well as taking it to school.
Wednesday morning shenanigans
I picked up some Halloween crafts to do with the kids. It had a ton of pieces and lots of little stickers that the kids had a hard time peeling the back off. It entertained the kids for about 10 minutes, made a big mess and then they completely loss interest.

Halloween is not my favorite holiday and I certainly wouldn't waste time or money decorating for it. But Jake has been dying for some Halloween decorations. So I bought some spider webs that he got to hang up this paper skeleton (I was too cheap to buy the $40 plastic one). Thankfully, little things mean big time to Jake, so he was so excited!

(Um, can we just take a moment to acknowledge that it is Halloween and almost 90 degrees outside?!? We had to loose the pants for this outfit and just pair it with a pair of white summer bloomer shorts.)

We had planned for a low key Saturday night. We were going to go to a neighbor's Halloween party for a little while and then just come back and watch the Auburn game on the patio. The host's child got sick, so they had to cancel the party. Somehow, many of the guests ended up at our house and our next door neighbor's house. Robbie set up multiple TVs and we fried wings and fries and had a chicken nacho bar. Everything was last minute, but tons of fun.
A little jumping before people arrive
I tried getting a picture of Jake, but he was too busy running around playing with the boys.
