Hollon enjoyed the car ride home |
Robbie's grandfather (Grandfather Jake, who our Jake is named after) & GG Kathy were wrapping up their summer RV trip and had planned on spending Labor Day weekend in Birmingham. Unfortunately a tree fell on their back screened-in porch, so they were only able to stay in Birmingham Thursday night. But we were so excited for them to get to meet Hollon! This is granddad Jake's 6th great grandchild.

My sweet best friend Amanda was driving through town and stopped by to meet Hollon & bring us supper. I'm so glad that she got to visit and meet Hollon!
Later that afternoon, my dad brought my 2 nieces up as they were dying to meet Hollon.
Marrell was especially excited. She is the little mama of the group. She kept telling everyone that she was having a baby sister named Hollon born on Tuesday. Marrell is so sweet, she calls all of her cousins her brothers & sister.

Basically they are only interested in Hollon if they actually get to hold her |

I love the excited look on Marrell's face |

I cannot thank my mom enough for all her help the week Hollon was born. She spent the night at our house every night that week to stay with Jake. She took him & picked him up from school every day. She held down the fort and took care of Jake while we were at the hospital and she stayed with me during the day, so Robbie could run home. We couldn't have managed the week without her. Thank you mom!!
