Week in Review - Week Before Easter

I had to go to Chattanooga for a meeting, so Hollon stayed with the Bush's on Tuesday. I got back Tuesday night and Wednesday was the first of her 2 class Easter parties. She was very excited to bring her Easter basket.

She had to bring some eggs for the egg hunt. She had to examine each one carefully.

That afternoon, once Jake got home from school, we went to see the Easter Bunny. They take the goofiest cheesy picture before you can go see the bunny. By this point, Hollon knew something was up and was getting nervous.

She initially cried when we sat her in the bunny's lap. She finally stopped crying, but would not take her hand out of her mouth.

Afterwards, I let each one pick something they wanted to do. Hollon choose the carousel.

Jake choose the lego store. Jake has always loved legos. I guess it rubbed off on Hollon, because was was obsessed with the store.

Thursday was another round of class parties (Some kids only go 2 days a week Tu/Th or W/F. So Hollon and a few other kids, who go 4 days, get to have 2 parties. One with their Tu/Th friends and another one with their W/F friends.)

Hollon loves Tinkerbell. She sings a song to the tune of "Jingle Bells", but instead of saying jingle bells, she says Tinklebells. The video is not the greatest, but the only time she sings it, is in the car.

Jake had a game that night. Hollon was playing with another one of the little sisters. Ella was showing her a video. (Funny story - Ella (who is 3) thinks that Hollon is my sister. She always asks me where my sister is.)

My offices were closed on Friday and Hollon didn't have school, so we ran a few errands. Hollon was mad I wouldn't let her wear her swimsuit to run errands. (In her hand below)

Or maybe she was just mad that I had her bow placed awkwardly on her head?

We were walking through a food court and an employee handed Hollon this Burger King crown. Hollon thought it was the funniest thing.

That night, we were hanging out with our neighbors (I finally let Hollon wear her swimsuit). We did a little Easter egg hunt for them.
