Back in Auburn for their 3rd game, which was a home game against Mercer. This was a game we decided to take the kids to. Jake was excited to wear an Auburn jersey.
And sister was traumatized when I put an Auburn cheerleader outfit on her.
I kid! I kid! She was just having one of her typical 3 year old meltdowns. I'm sure it was over something ridiculous.
And...... back happy 5 minutes later
Jake went for a walk around campus with Granddad. Of course they had to stop in the shops.
Ready to go to the game!
It wouldn't be a football game without a fight over the binoculars
Hollon was melting down (we had gone to the bathroom approximately 647 times, spent approximately $253 at the concession stand and had spent half of the 2nd quarter walking around the concourse). I had hoped the band would entertain Hollon, but we didn't have a good view of the majorettes (the best part!), so she lost interest. So Rob, the kids and I head out. We stopped at a friends tailgate on the way out and and the kids ate their weight in cookies.
And this is why we sell the kids tickets. They had much more fun playing in a huge puddle of ice. (In Jake's defense, he does do well at the games when with just adults. But if Hollon is there, he gets so distracted.)
Back at the RV
Tossing the football around with Granddad that night
Hollon loves helping dad pack up
Then that night we were treated to a free concert. We were all sitting outside the RV, watching games on the TV and Hollon was using the back of my SUV as a stage.
