Day Three
Saturday morning and ready for the beach!
Another swimsuit made by Mimi |
Picking the sand out from between her toes |
Snacks at the beach are always a good thing
Jake, Dad & Mr. Zach played some baseball on the beach
Hollon & Daddy |
We were grilling out at the condo that night, so I took the kids down to the beach for some pictures
Jake always wants to take a silly face picture.
My thoughts are more inline with Hollon's.
This picture looks so sweet, right? |
She is really trying to move his hand off |
Back at the condo, Rob & Jake tossed the ball around, while the food was cooking
The kids are always fascinated with this drain
Meanwhile, Hollon stayed inside with Kimberly & me and watched George
We did just fish tacos for the kids and let them eat first. This was them holding hands singing their prayer.
Dinner: grilled fish with crawfish topping, rice & bacon wrapped scallops
After dinner, Kimberly & I took Jake & Addie for a walk on the beach
They were walking in front of us, talking all things Star Wars
Day Four
Sunday was our last full day at the beach.
Our crew (minus Hollon & me)
Jake & Daddy |
Miss Spoiled Rotten having her feet washed by Addie
We wanted to spend the whole day down at the beach, so we packed lunch that morning and let the kids have a lunch picnic.
Hollon napped every afternoon in the tent on the beach. On the last day, Jake joined her for the nap.
That night, we went out to dinner in Seaside
It was a wee bit windy |
Our family
The wind was crazy! |
By this point, we had officially lost the kids
We let the kids play for a while, while we waited for our table to be ready
We had a great dinner at Great Southern. Monday, we packed up everything and headed home. I always hate to leave the beach, but I'm excited to kick off our summer!
And of course a HUGE thank you to my parents for letting us use the condo. You guys are so generous and we cannot thank you enough!!
