Last Day of School - Jake

Jake's last day of school was supposed to be Thursday, May 26th. But since we left for the beach Wednesday afternoon, Wednesday was his last day of school. First grade has been an amazing year! Jake's teacher, Mrs. Prater was a perfect match for him. The subject that he excels the most with is reading and the subject he struggles with is math. When I met with his teacher to discuss his progress throughout the year and what type of teacher would be best for him next year, she talked about what a joy Jake was to have in her classroom. She said he was considerate, he was a friend to everyone, and genuinely cared about his classmates. I'm very proud of what Jake has accomplished this year. Not just with school subjects, but also with his actions. Now he is ready for summer!
