Jake's teacher is Mrs. Prater. So the theme/nickname for things in her class is Prater's Taters. If they are good, they get to pick a treat out of the "tater box". Their work comes home in their "tater folder". And each week, one kid gets to be the "Tater of the Week". This means they get to bring home a little Mr. Potato Head to hang out with them. They take pictures and then write about it in the the Tater Journal that goes everywhere with Mr. Potato Head. A few weeks ago, Jake got to be the tater of the week. Here is how his week went with Mr. Potato Head....
