Week 5 was Auburn's homecoming. Robbie has been gone every Friday night since August. So we decided to not leave for Auburn until Saturday morning. It was so nice to just get to relax on a Friday night. We got up early Saturday morning and headed down to Auburn.
One of Jake's favorite things about going to Auburn on the weekends is playing with his friends. It is mostly boys and they are all right around Jake's age. It is pretty neat, because the dads were all friends while they were at Auburn, and now they all have sons that are friends.

And Hollon loves it because she gets tons of attention.

Granddad & Hollon |
Most of our core group of kids. We are missing Alex & Emily.
Henry (7), Jake (6), Owen (5), Hill (4) & Hollon (1) |
The small games are nice because the RV lot is not as full and the boys have plenty of room to run around.
The ice cream truck drove by & the parents said no to ice cream.
Jake & Owen's sad slump |
Mr. Chad saved the kid's day and offered to buy them all ice cream.

These guys all met while at Auburn over 15 years ago and are still close friends today.
And these are their sons
They were all eating their lunch inside the RV talking at the table |

They've been tailgating buds since the beginning
Back in 2010! Henry was 2.5 & Jake was almost 2 |
Hollon, Robbie & I stayed at the RV while Mimi, Granddad & Jake went to the game.
Jake stayed the whole game. How? Because this is what all he ate/drank throughout the game:
1) Popcorn
2) Sprite
3) Nachos
4) Funnel Cake
5) Sprite
Nothing like cheering for your team in the rain while eating funnel cake & nachos |
Meanwhile, back at the RV....
This little thing woke up from her nap mid-game and was ready to party.
A look back at our kids through the years at the tailgate
