Week in Review - school, baseball & best day ever

Ready for school on wednesday

Just reading a little before school

We struggled on Thursday. First, I went to put on the matching pants that go with this top. It is a 24M set and the pants were wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long. So we had to wear some different pants. And then, we couldn't take a decent picture to save our life.
There was this one
And then this one with her nose running
Or this one
So I gave up and we left for school

On Friday, I was getting Hollon's stuff ready for school. She drug out some of my shoes and then sat down to take hers off.

Just doing a little shoe swapping

And then back to trying to put on her shoes

Jake's best day ever (according to him)...
Jake had a baseball game Saturday morning. Nana, Gran and cousin Marrell came up for the game. Jake had a great game. He got a hit every time up to bat and made several outs at pitcher. Afterwards, we went to one of his favorite places to eat lunch, Jim n' Nicks.
Marrell & Jake playing an intense game of tic-tac-toe
And Hollon being spoiled rotten sitting in Gran's lap drinking his sweet tea
After lunch, Gran took Jake & Marrell to see the movie Jungle Book. While they were at the movie, Robbie took Hollon home to nap and my mom & I went shopping.
Jake & Marrell
Marrell made Jake this sign
Sister made sure to cheer Jake on as well!

After Nana, Gran & Marrell left, I had to run to the store to pick up some stuff for supper. We have been working with Jake the last few weeks, trying to teach him to ride his bike without training wheels. I was beginning to worry that it wasn't going to catch on. While I was gone, Rob tried helping him again. This time, it finally clicked. Go Jake!

Poor Robbie. He was trying to video, run after Jake and hold Hollon.

We had dinner and then Robbie let Jake know that he had downloaded the latest Star Wars movie. It was so sweet, during his prayer that evening, he kept thanking God for the best day.

Sunday morning
Thank goodness for Curious George. It is the only show that will hold Hollon's attention. She watched it while we got ready for church.

After church we went to Subway (we are fancy like that) and Hollon killed her entire kids meal (quarter of a sandwich and bag of apple slices). Sometimes she eats like a little bird and other times will completely throw down a full meal.

That afternoon we went to the Bush's so I could monogram and she insisted on wearing her rainboots. Even though there was no rain in sight.
