Week in Review

This crazy little thing ready for a new week

She has found the first show that she likes. The only show she'll sit still & watch is Curious George.

I went back and looked and it was about this age (18M) that Jake first became interested in TV as well. His favorite show was Sid the Science Kid.

I got the kids each a valentine book and heart cookie as a little after school surprise

We had to get a new sofa. They are not coming to pick up the old sofa until another week. Rob & I were trying to move the old sofa to the garage since they would be delivering the new sofa later that day. We ran out of time before he had to leave for work, so we just left the sofa in the foyer on its side. It became Hollon's favorite place to sit.

Saturday, Jake had his friends birthday party. (We held his family birthday party closer to his actual birthday.) More about his party in a separate post later this week. Our best friends from Chattanooga came into town for the party and spent Saturday night with us. The kids had fun playing with some of the toys Jake got for his birthday.

The Bush's watched the kids that night, so us parents could all go out to dinner. (Reason #257,648,954 I have the most awesome in-laws!!) Hollon went to sleep in her crib, but the other 3 kids all fell asleep in the den! Jake was asleep on the sofa between Mimi & Granddad & Addie & Tyler were both on the floor. This is how they were when we got home.

We enjoyed getting to hang out the Stickland's Sunday morning before they headed back to Chattanooga. After they left, Jake worked on one of his new legos he got for his birthday. 

That evening, we went over to a friends house to watch the super bowl. I didn't take one single picture. All of the older kids were too busy running around. Hollon was in complete heaven. She was the only toddler there, but they still had all of their older daughter's toys in a huge playroom. Hollon kept going back and forth between the kitchen playset, mini trampoline, shopping cart and microphone. Plus, all of the older girls played with her which she just ate up. 

What a week!
