Week in Review - Football & Fall Festival

Our week started out with this little one doing one of her favorite things... pulling everything out of the bottom shelves of the pantry.

Caught!
Monday night, brother had his last regular game of the season.

Of course I waited until the last game to bring my big camera, so most of my pictures were super dark or on a setting that doesn't take good action shots.
My #44
One of my favorite parts of the evening is the boys running through the banner and cheerleaders onto the field.

Great season guys! Our team is made up of 1st and 2nd graders. Most of the teams we play are all 2nd graders. We didn't win all of our games, but we have made it to the first round of the playoffs.

2nd Grade Cheerleaders, Football Players, 1st Grade Cheerleaders
It was homecoming so the cheerleaders made the boys signs

Sweet Mimi & Granddad come to all of the games. They are a huge help with keeping Hollon under control during the games. Trying to climb the bleachers is one of her favorite activities.

On Tuesday I volunteered at Jake's school book fair. Their school has a pretty strict policy about when you can take pictures of kids during school, so I didn't snap a picture. But he was so excited. Getting to buy books & mom was there helping?!?! He said it was the best day ever. I know the day will come soon, that he won't care anything about me being there. So until then, these days are super special to me.

Once we got home, just having some fun playing in the tent with Hollon

Days she has Mother's Day Out, completely wears her out

On Thursday, Hollon's school had their Fall Festival. They had the cutest setup, but Hollon wouldn't let me take a picture of her. She was tired, ready for a nap and wouldn't let me put her down. So we had to settle for pictures at home after her nap.

Her little class made their shirts

Just doing a little playing in our pajamas Friday before school

It's Halloween Eve!
And yes, she is holding tampons. She found them in a cabinet and played with them all morning. She danced with them. Crinkled the paper on them. Waved them. When you have a busy one year old, you will let them play with anything (even tampons) if it keeps them occupied and they can't kill themselves with it.

On Friday, Jake's school had their Fun Run. Along with their picture rules (we could take pictures at the Fun Run), they have a strict no siblings rule. So some events, I can't go unless Hollon is at MDO or the Bush's watch her. Thankfully Fun Run fell during a time Hollon was at MDO, so I got to go.

One of his favorite friends Hayden who is also on the football team

Jake was able to run all of his laps during the 30 minute time limit
