He also spent the year being the absolutely best big brother in the world to his crazy little sister
Happy Birthday my precious baby boy!

And since I do this for Hollon's birthdays, I figured I'd do it for Jake's too!
Loves: Hanging out with friends, going out anywhere, Auburn, having his back scratched, sports, being Hollon's 3rd parent, his cousins, nerf gun fights at the pool house, the beach (specifically being out in the ocean), Transformers, Star Wars, legos, reading, family movie night with popcorn, the pool
Dislikes: Vegetables, anything he thinks is "girly", when I make him tuck in his shirt
Sleep: Jake is our wonder sleeper. He can fall asleep anywhere, in any situation, in any environment. And once he is asleep, he is a heavy sleeper. He goes to bed without fighting and wakes up in a good mood. He has been a great sleeper since he was born. I should have known that meant our next child would be the opposite.
Eat: What will this child NOT eat (beside vegetables)?? He has a BIG appetite. He is willing to try anything. He eats fish, oysters, wings, steaks. He is a great eater.
Size: Size L or XL or 12 in clothing. Size 6 in shoes.
Personality: Jake has a lot of first child traits. He is a worrier, he is bossy, he likes there to be a plan. But he is good about going with the flow. He has a short term memory. Which sometimes can be great, because he can shake off bad things quickly. But it can also cause him to make the same mistake over and over. He has the biggest heart. He loves big. He has never met a stranger and will make friends with anyone. He has a lot of confidence and is a huge extrovert. He is very laid back. Again, this is great in some cases, because he can just go with the flow. But sometimes it holds him back from really pushing himself. He cares very much about people and wants them to be happy. He has a heart for those that are struggling. He can be very sensitive and sympathetic. He loves to help and be a part of things.
