The Saturday before Easter, we headed down to Prattville to see my family. Their church was having Egg-citement that day, so we all attended.

My sister got the kids a kite. So they decided to try to fly it.
On a day with no wind. Not winning.

After multiple failed attempts, my oldest niece Maddox asked
Aunt Lindsey how much the kite cost. |

Aunt Lindsey also got them Easter glasses |

Maddox actually got the kite up the highest |

Hunting Easter eggs! |
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3
Side note unrelated to the beautiful meaning of Easter: The Friday before Easter, I take Jake to get a haircut. His hair grows so fast & before you know it, it just looks long & stringy. Especially in the summer when he sweats. So I decided to go for a new hairstyle for him (do 3-year-old boys have hairstyles?). The result (as seen in the pictures above), is he looks like the long lost brother of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (as seen below).
